As a small organisation we rely heavily on the generosity of people volunteering their time and expertise. From our Board of trustees to event volunteers to office volunteers, lots of different types of people and skills are needed.
Being a volunteer doesn’t mean just shaking a collection tin (although we need that too!) and it isn’t about giving your time for nothing. Faith Clinic Foundation volunteer community is friendly and sociable, and a great way to donate your time to a worthwhile and important cause whilst developing your skills, gaining experience and meeting new people.
Donate your time and skills and make a huge difference to the lives of mothers in developing countries. By volunteering with Faith Clinic Foundation, doctors, nurses, midwives, public health workers and other professional staff will have the opportunity to play a vital role in saving the lives of mothers and babies during childbirth now and for the future. We believe in using sustainable methods to make lasting changes as part of a fully integrated maternal health programme. For this reason we recruit highly skilled and experienced volunteers who are able to share their skills, train staff and implement systems to improve services provided in low-resource settings. We ask that, in order to make the most impact, our volunteers spend a minimum of 7.5 months on placement, 6 weeks of which is an induction in-country and 6 months volunteering.
